Galatical Paradise In Strings and Keys

The sun rises above the horizon of the red giant. The moons glow and bathe in the bask of the sandstorms. Lightning strikes the planet as spaceships of twinkling matter approach nearbye. These spaceships are simply comets passing through on an endless journey through space. They glitter in their last moments of existence, before colliding with the surfaces of the moons. The giant below glows with a fierce red as the moons consume the asteroids.

Such events are only observed by unknown forces throughout the universe. They are obserbed for only an instant, and time seems to slow at a breathtaking rate. Space itself can not be described in anyway at such a rate, and so we take this day to observe the one small glow in the sky, the one small glow that we call the red giant; for it is thi giant that consumes the minds of people all around. If seen on surface, everything turns from a fierce red, to a silent black. Perhaps one day we will journey to this surface, to witness the profound storm that it holds.

You are a genius.

Nice to see some storytelling from experiences!

Man, its awesome to hear a story being told thorugh the keys of a piano. It is very nicely dont. The odd off tune sounds you put in there had that sort of "You can trust me hehehe" feeling to them. A sense of harmony, yet a sense of lies were twisted throughout the keys.

I could see a poor homeless man attempting to drag money out of you, claiming he was telling the truth about his misfortunes, and then running away with an evil grin on his face in the end.

You are a gifted reviewer, I like you a lot :-)

Its me isnt it

AWW THANKS SWEETY :D

But seriously, this is really nice. It has a nice feeling of love flowing through it, a feeling not present in many of your songs. Its happy and gets you thinking. The only thing I was hoping for was a buildup of magnificent sounds and level. You could have really built it up into a large atmosphere, but it has a nice constant sound to it. I just think love would have more of a buildup, but thats just me.

Hi Precious.........................NOT! Thanks Nick!

The Edge

An old man with climbing gear walks to a large mountain of snow. and rock. He approaches the bottom. As he does, at 42 seconds, he lays his hand ontop of a rock and begins to slowly walk up the mountain. He walks up a path until 1:53. He trips, and falls on hi back. Everything is gray in front of him. Tiny specks of white snow fly over his face. He sits up and stares at the snowy world around him. His house in the background is old and rickety. The trees are all dead. The lake is frozen over. The animals are all shivering in their homes. He decides the best thing to do is to continue climbing.

And so he does at 2:30. He grabs a rock and gets up. He slams his pickaxe into the mountain and begins spiraling upwards. Sweat rolls down his cheeks. His legs shake. His wrinkly skin begins to freeze. A tear falls from his eye and falls down towards the white world. He climbs and reaches a tall point at around 3:12

Over the edge of the white barren hill lies the world below him quiet and still
The snow is all ice. The wind is all dumb. Everything is so still and numb.

He looks afar over the snow, and jumps. Everything goes black. Ironically, it is still a solid feeling of nothingness, just like the whiteness from whence he came.

Thats what I felt in this song. Corny or not corny, I loved the feeling.

You are a musical connisseur. A very heart felt thankyou for your reviews.

Why is this so underrated. :'(

This puts so many images into my head. Its remarkably beautiful and so professionally done. Dont let NG get you down. You have talent. You really do. The combination of sincerity and emotion through this song provides a depth of pure piano music that is so hard to come by now a days. Its original. Its pure. Its heart filled.

The piano is played very well, and combines so perfectly with the strings. Is this made with the PerfectPiano Plugin or is this a real recording? It sounds very well recorded. Almost like Diamond. Your very lucky to have a synthesizer like that, and if you have an actual piano you are even more lucky to have the recording equipment.

Keep composing please, your music will be used in wonderful things. I guarantee it. You just need to put it out there. Get it noticed. All your music is so wonderful. Im off to review more, this is wonderful to my ears and body. I can picture so many things in this song... to many to explain.

MarkySpark responds:

Wow, I think I love you :-) Your reviews are so perfectly perfect. I am really enjoying reading them and yes, of course you have yourself a composer dedicated to your projects. The piano is my Yamaha Grand and the Strings I play on the Yamaha too. It's all live and no program used except Adobe Audition 3 to record on the PC.

PFTTT

Damn lol. 4Chan has done it again.

SessileNomad responds:

deal with it xD

Haywire now does Dubstep

Personally, I have seen much better stuff from you than this; even dubstep. I love dubstep, and love chillax, and love all your genres, so this is my honest review.

BADS

It is to dry.

The mix of dubstep and slow heavy industrial like beats do not mix well together. They sound often to harsh and tend to provide the exact opposite of a chilax feeling. They make stress, basically, and get annoying after a while. They sound cool at first, but I cant stand to listen to them again. Try fixing this by speeding up the tempo, because I know how you love to have your songs in that slow, steady, tempo. It doesnt work as well with this, however.

You need more variety

Usually, you tend to include a specific beat all the way through your songs. This only works if the beat is catchy, however, and doesnt work so well if the beat sounds to industrial. People can only stand an industrial sound in such a slow mix, for a certain amount of time. It sounds cool for a first listen.. but how many times can you listen to it after that? It almost gives the feel of chill and trippyness that your other songs give out, but that immediatly goes away about a minute in. Try to include more sounds in a song like this. Try to avoid repetition in a song like this. Perhaps include a buildup in there instead of going straight into the lead and leading off the same way.

GOOD

Its catchy

You have a nice catchy beat, and it can be added onto easily to make this song better. More pads, more beats and dubstep sounds. Upgrade that tempo a bit. Its all fairly simple to do with the structure youve created in this song. In other words, youve got half a building here. Finish it with the bricks youve got.

It got into the Top 5

Youve deserved the top 5 for a long time now. You get in occasionally, and im glad you got in this time. It shows many people like this song, but it gets old fast at the way its setup.

Its unique

Youve created a very unique set of sounds that can be described as art. Its almost as if this could be used in a movie.

Well, theres my review. Enjoy :P

I understand your variety complaint, but i dont understand what you mean with too dry. Please pm me to explain that, cause i worked on this for a long time and wanted it to do better than a 7.

Thanks a bunch man

This is PERFECT for the racoon battle lmao. Added to the MCFargles playlist!!! :D

AvizuraNG responds:

No problemo ;) haha

It almost sounds like Moby...

Ever listened to Mobys Animal Rights album? It sounds a lot like this in many ways. That background synth that comes in slowly sounds a lot like the common synth he seems to use along with that keyboard. Even the beat sounds like it. This is pretty much a Moby Tribute! Of course it needs some mastering and some more pads in the background to add more effect, but other than that it sounds like an excellent song. Its trying to be peaceful, which it is, but the best combination of feelings is when you feel peaceful yet enlightened at the same time, which you can do with brightness, reverb, echo, and powerful effects added t powerful instruments such as pads, guitars, and yes even the baby keyboard.

durn responds:

Nay, I've only ever heard Moby's radio releases, haven't been exposed to any of the full albums. So... :P I dunno if I'd call it a Moby tribute as I certainly wasn't thinking of Moby when I made the track. :D

I agree about the adding of more pads, they're not something I've really got a full grasp of yet. As for mastering... in time, I'm still having fun getting a grip on composition. :D

Thanks for the great review, FatKidWitAJetPak! :)

NIce one on the top 50

Looks like you finally got something you deserved. Dont let the gay audio voting system get you down. This beat is nice and smooth and flows so well into an anwesome synth and bass combination. Its almost like a hip hop beat without the lyrics... in fact that is exactly what it is. You could work on your mastering a bit by making the notes a bit more powerful, as in turn up their brightness. Add some pads in the background and some lyrics to really get the emotions flowing. Nice job on the tune, now you just need to add a bit of a powerfulness to it.

CKC2009 responds:

thanks.

Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
