Another great submission from young artists!

As usual, I love your styles. The long arms, the facial expressions, the hilarious gimmicks, much like that of SimonG. The plus side on this was that it had not only great art but great plot! The ending was so cute haha. The snowmen idea was pretty hilarious, snowmen robbers lol. Thanks for making a christmas submission, it was really fun to watch.

Ohohohoh orgasmic!

This art style is absolute EYE CANDY. You somehow managed to make this have a plot, even though it was one huge acid trip. How in the world... you guys are amazing. This isnt the dark side this is pure artistic talent in one huge festival of color and activity. I loved the 1dt person perspective you gave the baby when he crawled out of the womb. I loved the sounds that gave everything such a creepy atmosphere. I loved the facial expressions of each chracter and the gruesome saw blade cutting through the guys head.

God, how do you come up with this? Really cool man.

How the...

Movies like this really bewilder me. How did you include those live action effect, real candle light, strange glowing aura, e.t.c., inside this flash movie? Did you use Aftereffects? I really should learn some more of those programs but I hate the fact that they take up a crapload of memory inside your harddrive.

This movie was wonderful, the animation was superb, and the ending was like WOH. I loved the explosion that really sent a chill down my spine. The ending was too adrupt, however, I think you should have continued it for about 15 more seconds or so, showing the caption "And thus, Christmas was born" or something. It would really give the film a poetic feel.

Everything besides the plot was fantastic. You cant really have plot inside an experimental film though, can you? Thats a mistake many experimental films make, they lack plot. This is really nice and i hope to see more from you!

thanks man yea i used aftereffects to blend a lot of the effects. i drew and animated all the parts i could in flash and for the heavier effects i superimposed them on each other in aftereffects. the program can handle more of that than flash can without lag. bringing it back into flash was the killer tho as you can see with how it was compressed :(

[Late Christmas Secret]

Man your a great artist

I have always enjoyed your style, from the long arms, to the hilarious facial expressions and attention to lines and colors. I loovvee the colorful atmosphere you give everything. This flash made me all warm and fuzzy inside and gave me the feeling of Christmas hehe. There are a few things you can work on, however, and it would really improve your fan box and scoring if you go about it correctly.

PLOT. That's right, plot. One of the simplest, yet one of the most effective aspects of a flash cartoon. This cartoon had some plot, but jumped around randomly and made me a little bit confused. For example, what was that thing doing in his garage? Why did he randomly put on a santa hat? E.t.c. To make it better, try and implement an effective intro, body, and conclusion. Give the characte a motive or something. Perhaps he could have hated christmas because he waited for santa to come down the chimney as a kid, but santa never came. So now he sits as an adult working at his boring job. Then have him wake up kind of depressed and go to the garage to look at a small sled and a christmas hat. And he can just go around giving kids presents and return home happy again, enjoying the spirit of giving. There are a lot of things you could do to make the plot better.

Truly A Work of Art

Sometimes I rate ten just because I laughed at a movie enough to make me want to vote ten. Sometimes I rate ten because the movie had decent animation or plot. I rate ten on newgrounds because I never think there can be an animation any better than those that I rate ten, an animation any better because most people here are amature and aspiring flash artists who need that inspiration. This ten, however, is a ten that would be given at the highest animation contest in the world. If it were rated on the newgrounds level, I would need a few hundred more stars. Want to know why?

Because I loved it.

This movie is a quality that can not really be described in words. It is so touching to the heart that one just has to experience it. No one can possibly read about it and feel its emotion. the only thing words will do is make them want to see it. I will do my best to explain to you what i felt.

First off, this movie brought tears to my eyes. The facial experessions that you gave each character were brilliant and real. The voice actors were incredible and everything was designed beyond expectations. I was very glad that you made the sounds high quality, because they really distracted me from the lowered quality of the graphics. The lowered quality, however, did not take away the joy and I was very glad that it didnt. This movie was done so well that the lowered quality could not possibly take away the brilliance of it. I cant imagine what this will be like when I buy the DVD. I will show it to all my friends.

The little girls eyes always attracted me. They seems to just stare right into mine and as the movie progressed I started to really grow on the character and care for her. The doctor, with his misunderstood mind made me feel sorry for him rather than get angry at him. I really felt connected to them. I felt for the girl and i felt for the doctor. I felt for the little catipillar she always carried around with her. I felt for her real dad who dieds in some battle and lost her arms in an explosion. Great character development.

The plot was wonderful as well. I know you wanted to make this 45 minutes long, but you decided to cut it down to 22 which was a bold move and made each and every second not wasteful at all. Every scene seemed like it needed to be in there, nothing was pointless. Each line seemed like it shouold be there. Each movement should have been made in order to get a point across. Everything was tied so nicely together! Everything connected!

The voice wacting was the best i have heard in a long time. Each charcter studdered when they needed to, each character sniffed when they needed to, each character sounded happy when they needed to, sad, angry, frustrated, shy, e.t.c. Wonderful! The sounds were great as well! Plastic, metal, scratching, creaking of gears, hydrolics, all of these sounds molded together to create a very vibrant scene. finally, the music brought everything together and really flew with the animation like magic. It put that final touch on it that brought it to life.

The art. Ahhh the art! You have such a simple style that is frame by frame, and really looks great! You are very talented at body movement, facial expressions, hand gestures, anatomy! Even though the art was simple, the backgrounds were complex, and everything was done so well. I always gazed in awe at the wonderful look on the characters faces in certain situations. These gestures made me laugh when a character laughed, made me cry when a character cried, and made me surprised when a character was surprised! i felt as if I was there. The art engulfed me into this movie and took me on a wonderful journey into the mind of a wonderful and talented artist. Good job Man.

I remember when we talked about you making this movie 9 months ago. I was sitting next to a tree on the gof course late at night and we were talking about God remember? Then you mentioned something about putting the movie on newgrounds and I was like hell yeah go for it! you are so modest, I didnt realize it was this wonderful. You have sme true talent. Praise God

Cool review. Hmm that's the nice thing about art and life, everyone's got their own opinions and choices. The art could be 10 times better, i've out grown this project. Wait till you see our next story. Hmmm I think you did well, with explaining your experience, hehehe nice read.

Wonderful

When most people see this they will get distracted by the sex scene. most will not understand its true meaning and we have to come into terms with that. However, after really examining this I realized a few things. For one, I understood the poetic value of this. The style was so unique and fascinating that it really was different from anything that I have ever seen before. It showed you, the artist, thinking about sex during mass because you just want to be free. You dont want to hold back that thought and you dont want to hold back drawing it either. You dont want to close your bars because of society belief. You just want to be free. And you want to sometimes die and wash away the stink from this world, which you believe to be you. Although, suicide you know very well is not the answer and there are positives in this world and what you make of it is all from your own perspective. Everyone wants something strange, just not everyone is able to admit it. You also put in a sense of comedy in here. I loved the list of things you made describing what you should do in life that really cracked me up. haha.

So anyway, thats my perspective on this. I really enjoyed its uniqueness it was so oooo soooo unique. Good job man, you have some great talent that I hope more people look past the hentai and regonize the talent.

Omfg this was just great. It was just hilarious and touching at the same time. The art was great, the music went very well with the video, the effects for the jogger at the end were just great.. wow wow wow! You have avery unique style.

GRAPHICS 10/10

I loved the frame by frame animation you used. All the movements were very enjoyable. The backgrounds were very nicely fone, with attention to detail. Very impressive! I LOVED THE CLOUDS! At the end where robin ran down the street its like a combination of emotion and comedy filled my body and i just couldnt stop lauging. You somehow managed to make a perfect flash scene with that. I cant explain it, it was just to funny.

ACTING 10/10

The acting was GREAT. The accents of each character was great. I loved each unique character and thought it was great that Mr. Fit was actually just as weird as fat cat. The only normal guy was the jogger.

PLOT 10/10

The plot was great. Some british slang i didnt understand such as "his house is in a right state" which I figured out meant it was dirty. I didnt udnerstand who robin was until I saw the end, but that made it even funnier.

I could keep reviewing but irs 135AM and im tired. It was great. Keep it up. Make another. I loved it.
