I don't know how to equalize live recordings sorry

But that is exactly what you need to do. If you had the sound white noise free, people would enjoy these much more. Hope you figure out how to do that.

Pretty funky.

I loved how the tempo slowed down to a nice groovy beat after it speed up. Would be freaking hard to dance to, but it was a good jazzy tune to listen to from my computer. I liked the combination of instruments you choose for each different beat. It wasn't repetitive at all, except the main beat. (Which is good) good title too. Some of the instruments were out of tune, but it went well with the groovyness. Liked 1:45 the best. I see you worked hard on this song, if only people could appreciate this more. Most hopefully will, except for those immature people who hate this sort of stuff. DAMN THEM TO HELL! Lol, keep up this awesome work! I hope this gets front paged.

MackerelSalad responds:

well, actually the whole track remains about the same tempo, and i would rather sit and relax to this, than dance to it. thanks for the compliments man! 1:45 is one of my favorite parts too. Yeah, I kinda worked really hard on this track. I mean, doing this shit all by yourself, from scratch is kinda hard yes. I'm glad you do appreciate it :)

Oh boy...

I am giving you a 4 for being able to remake this song, but playing music from games that have already been made before, isn't very original. And the byte sounds are annoying to just listen to. If you want to remake the song, then add real instruments like guitars, pianos, and some synths here and there instead of that annoying byte sound. Hope it works out for you. Good job for making this though.

bitium-ribbon responds:

Thanks, I think...

But, um... I have to ask why you bothered putting that in a review of a "Video Game" song to begin with. There's a reason the category exists, and that's so fans like me can mix up songs like this (and the dozen or so others I've cooked up) in tribute. If I wanted to be original, I wouldn't make a "Video Game" song to begin with, now would I?

Thanks anyway.

EDIT: Sorry, to your other commentary. The instruments I use are tried and true. Most of the sounds you heard *were* guitar samples - in fact, that annoying byte sound you're referring to is one of them. Perhaps your speaker quality is giving you a problem distinguishing it. Piano wouldn't have worked well either. But I'll keep your suggestions in mind.

FUCK.

Seriously now, that was epic. Even though the dark piano needed to be a regular piano. Please, make it a real piano and this song would be awesome! Great job.

Cool.

I liked it at first, but then the high pitch squeel synth came in. Simple choose a different synth in place of that one. It was a good tune, but that synth ruined everything. Also, you should change things a bit around 48 seconds.

Laikros responds:

Eeek, the high-pitchedness ruined the song ><
I'll get to work on a new one then D:

-Thank you :3

Hey, turn up that master volume!

It might be Ambient, but that doesn't mean you set the volume to one! Turn up the volume and add some more dark pads and sound effects like water droplets. If you do that, it would make it sound a whole lot better with a higher score. Because it was a good idea, but the idea wasn't put through very well.

Keep it up!

POO.

Heh... rigggghhhhttt.... It was pretty cool!

Look, you obviously stole this song. Please, don;t steal songs. If you are going to submit songs to the audio portal, read the review and guidlines first.

You claimed this as yours by posting it, and mentioning you making it in the authors comments.

Try harder, and compose a song of your own.

mgear responds:

Deleted my old response, came up with something better. Reeaaddy?

Nope. Not stolen, You have ears which may be deceiving you. Even then, if you still believe it is stolen, link me the other song?

WAY to edgy;

Turn down the edgyness man, it hurt my ears! Do that, and the song would be pretty cool.

dejota responds:

fatkid, one solution remains on your end, and that would be to turn down the volume on your speakers. Second, just tell me where the "edgyness" knob is, and I'll be sure to crank it down for you, bud.

Hmm...

Simple, yet cool. I think you should continue this song. I really liked the icy background pad you used.

Good as always!

Great job on submitting so many great songs man! This was pretty cool. I liked the YAH! vocals coming in at the right time. It was really epic music, would be great for a game. Actually.. it would be PERFECT for a game.

Great job! Keep up the good work.

MaestroRage responds:

It was in fact made for a game :D! I'm glad you felt it would be good for one. This specific one was made for the intro, which is why it also loops!

Thanks for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
