Cool!
I loved this beat man, made me want to get up and start dancing! If only I wasn't so fat... *SNIFF*
I loved the simplistic synths you used to create such an awesome background for this song. Fantastic Job man, keep up this aweosme work!!!

LOL
Nice voice acting, you should be in my next episode of FattyMcpatty and LardyLarLar. REview 4 and 5 so you can get a good idea of what you need to say... LOL Thanks.
GREAT JOB.
LOL!!!
Very medivial. Ioved he voice acting. And the guitar in the background. If you like voice acting, you should be in my next episode of FattyMcpatty and LardyLarLar.
You can review them first if you want... I recommend seeing 4 and 5.
Thanks, and keep this up!
Thanks man!
Wait wait wait...
SO you put this on newgrounds, but you didn't make it? Or did you play the song along with the mans speech? If you played it with the speech, then this song freaking rocks!!! I loved the way you played it exactly with his words.
But, if you just stole this and put it on here, then it will be deleted because you aren't following the review guidlines.
no need to worry about that friend, that is in fact my playing over the speech. Glad you liked it, hope you see that the speech is still pretty relevant.
Oh hello Nav.
I thought it was pretty cool. The first part of the song started out kind of slow and boring, but then it got better. You should of started the song out a little faster to get peoples attention. It was very original, and I liked the beat that came in. But, after 1:30, the song got way too generic. It was just a beat without any other instruments or synht besides some in the background that you can barely hear. Try to add some different instruments. Keep it up!
K, the beginning just sets the scene with some ambience... I would think you could appreciate that, as an ambient artist.
Considering this music is designed for club play, starting fast would be a horrible move. The trick is that the dj plays the ambient intro over another track, so he can make a smooth transition.
After 1:30, there was a drum line and a reese... drum and bass. With drums, and bass. Minimal background, just drums... and bass. Try to imagine hearing this in a club setting. Drum and bass really isn't meant to be casually listened to, but it's supposed to carry energy.
Also, I think you need to turn your volume up a bit more... I'm sure that the background elements were noticeable, even if they were minimal.
Thanks for reviewing!
no...
Look, combining pre-set loops from major songs doesn't make a song great. It was sort of original, but people aren't going to like it. Try playing a tune from a major film if you want to get regonition.
So the only songs that are interesting are covers? I appreciate your critique of the song, but find it hard to believe a cover of a song from a major film is anything special. I prefer to tread on new ground rather than revisiting what has already been done.
I don't know how to equalize live recordings sorry
But that is exactly what you need to do. If you had the sound white noise free, people would enjoy these much more. Hope you figure out how to do that.
Pretty funky.
I loved how the tempo slowed down to a nice groovy beat after it speed up. Would be freaking hard to dance to, but it was a good jazzy tune to listen to from my computer. I liked the combination of instruments you choose for each different beat. It wasn't repetitive at all, except the main beat. (Which is good) good title too. Some of the instruments were out of tune, but it went well with the groovyness. Liked 1:45 the best. I see you worked hard on this song, if only people could appreciate this more. Most hopefully will, except for those immature people who hate this sort of stuff. DAMN THEM TO HELL! Lol, keep up this awesome work! I hope this gets front paged.
well, actually the whole track remains about the same tempo, and i would rather sit and relax to this, than dance to it. thanks for the compliments man! 1:45 is one of my favorite parts too. Yeah, I kinda worked really hard on this track. I mean, doing this shit all by yourself, from scratch is kinda hard yes. I'm glad you do appreciate it :)
Oh boy...
I am giving you a 4 for being able to remake this song, but playing music from games that have already been made before, isn't very original. And the byte sounds are annoying to just listen to. If you want to remake the song, then add real instruments like guitars, pianos, and some synths here and there instead of that annoying byte sound. Hope it works out for you. Good job for making this though.
Thanks, I think...
But, um... I have to ask why you bothered putting that in a review of a "Video Game" song to begin with. There's a reason the category exists, and that's so fans like me can mix up songs like this (and the dozen or so others I've cooked up) in tribute. If I wanted to be original, I wouldn't make a "Video Game" song to begin with, now would I?
Thanks anyway.
EDIT: Sorry, to your other commentary. The instruments I use are tried and true. Most of the sounds you heard *were* guitar samples - in fact, that annoying byte sound you're referring to is one of them. Perhaps your speaker quality is giving you a problem distinguishing it. Piano wouldn't have worked well either. But I'll keep your suggestions in mind.
FUCK.
Seriously now, that was epic. Even though the dark piano needed to be a regular piano. Please, make it a real piano and this song would be awesome! Great job.
Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
