Cry Of the Planet...

i loved the name. It was a very dark tune, best for inside a temple, or going through a point n click game where you are trapped inside a house. It brings me back to the old NES games.. Oh, and I enjoyed the little add ons and take offs you did here and there to prevent repeat from occuring. I am giving you a 9 because It made me feel a little edgy, waiting for it to end. If it were to be put in a video game, you would need to have many more instruments. Great job still! =D (oh wait I'm sorry I meant) :D

Cosmos8942 responds:

Hmm...this one is nice...but it really doesn't deviate too much from that original until the drums kick in. Even then its not that good. The drums add a nice touch but they also tend to drown out the other instruments a little...which is something I would prefer to not do.

Once again though...I find that your taste for the placement of this song to be at best...odd XD. So once again do I say that I have no idea whether or not it would work. In all I made this song just because I could...and btw...this is from Final Fantasy VII.

Thanks ^^,

Woh!!!

That was fantastic! This was a very, original song that could be used in a video game where you are in the mountains, fighting... Or where you are flying through the clouds on a dragon. But best of all, it would fit just simply running through a grassy plain and jumping. Great job and keep it up!!! =P

Cosmos8942 responds:

Original? Not this one...not quite. This is actually, if I remember correctly, part of the Donkey Kong Country soundtrack for the original game. I just sorta...spiced it up ;].

I will say this though, you sure have interesting taste when it comes down to where you would put this song if you made a flash XD. Who knows though...it could work o.o.

Thanks :D,

Another review from you o.O.

Sweet.

Do you play all your instruments by yourself? or do you use a program? Well, good job on tis one. I especially liked the piano in it. =) Oh, and it is a 9 for simplicity. (Just because it could have some more strings inthere and/ot be longer)

Cosmos8942 responds:

Decent sure....but this song is not as good as you make it seem. The below reviews I agree with. This song is good at best but it is not great.

Thanks again for the review...though this time I disagree with with you a little.

-AJ-

Oh and btw I do use a program (or programS)...only instrument I can't really sit down and play is the piano. =\

Very interesting!

I loved the combination of instruments you used. You choose the perfect synth and piano instruments for this one! Ok... I am trying to see something that needs changing... Oh that's good! In 37 you went into the combination of violins. Very Nice. I am also noticing that you are not repeating yourself... besides the guitar, but that is the main chorus so it doesn't really count. Ok, heres what I think you (and I) should do here. I should add a synth in there from one of my Ambient songs. But first things first, this is a very good song, and I will be very glad to participate in adding on to it. 10/10 5/5. Contact me on your response to me adding a synth. (Like the ones from (::Rebirth Of Stars::) would be the best I think...)

Cosmos8942 responds:

Mmm first off this song does repeat in upon itself a bit...but in a good way. You would add in a synth from one of your songs? That is actually flattery in of itself, your synths are quite well thought out and demonstrated in your work. Its a pity I can't do that with pads ><...yet :D. Hmm...I wonder if I still have the original for this one...? I will have to look for it though don't count on it ><.

Thanks though! Once again!! O.O

Ouch my ears!

Ehh... Ok look, not to be rude, but I did not like the beat AT ALL. You need to cut out that swishing noise in the background and it would sound a whole lot better. It was a bit repetitive, and some sounds randomly appear and dissapear at times past 1 minute. I did like the loop you used in 125, but that is about it. Sorry, but I have to vote a 1 on this. Try again, and I am sure you will do better next time.

savoytruffle responds:

yeah, I think I'll fix that

8 bit ehh?

VERY NICE FOR THE 8-BIT CONTEST!!! I would enter, but sadly I can not create such music. But I LOVED the Spanish music yo. Hahah, I didn't notice it was Spanish until half way into the song. Well, besides being a little bit too simple, it was a very good song. Congrats!

endlessnumber responds:

*thanks*
I'll try to look at some of your stoof this weekend

What the hell...

OH MY GOD. This is a coincidence I am sure, but you created a song for the same purpose I created my song called (::Goodbye::) Lol, check it out and you will see what I mean. Well, goo djob in playing it all on your own, but I really didn't like the style. It seems to have a good score, however, so I will give you that. =)

Cosmos8942 responds:

Hmm...its because this style is different from the either 'Calm and collective, or Chaotic and Messy' style that is normally heard on a piano, or any song in general. The ups and downs, along with the higher pitched notes combined with the lower pitched ones shortly after tend to create a symphony few can truly enjoy. But look past those quirks and listen with your heart my friend, then you will feel the music, for listening is only part or what should be done.

Thanks though, reviews are always appreciated ^^.

Hmm...

FREAKING AWESOME. Would the game happen to be Chrono Trigger? It sounds like it... Great job! Though, you should probably be a little more creative, which I am sure you are going to do, and create songs by yourself rather than create one that has already been done before.

Cosmos8942 responds:

Thanks for the "FREAKING AWESOME." O.o.

No it is not Chrono Trigger XD...in fact, you are not even close .____....anyhow!

I am working on creating more of my own stuff (check out my Fleeting Times Final(?), which was my own). Slowly I am gaining the level where creating something like previously mentioned isn't so damn hard I need to be having a REALLY REALLY good frigg'n day.

Thanks again :),

Interesting.

The beat was very hip-hopish. You should have put in a synth in there to change it to an even better song. Well actually, it wasn't a song at all. It was more of a constant and non changing beat. Try mixing it up a little. Good for a lopp however.

Klassykilla responds:

iight man i appreciate the love. its just a lil beat to freestyle too. thinking bout makin it a full beat though.

KK

Great!

I have noticed that ALL of the FL studio songs sound alike... well anyway, it was a very nice beat and I enjoyed the way you brought it out. I didn't see any thing that you needed to change, except try to be a bit more creative next time. Keep it up!.

proshot responds:

Yeah, it can get a little boring. I'll do better on making effects and stuff sooner or later. Thx for the review! :]

Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
