Voice Acting Contest -5- Results!

FINAL AVERAGED SCORE FROM ALL JUDGES: 77

Ok wow, you had a lot of variety here. There is ONE THING YOU NEED. Please, get yourself an AT2020 MICROPHONE! You could REALLY do well in voice acting. These characters were all very great. LOL, the gay guy is addicted to tits? Doesn't that mean he isn't gay-ahh nevermind that's the joke I gettt itt muwahahaha oh that's good. I had a similar skit like this done a while ago where a group of people were at an AA meeting. WTF, the black guy is addicted to sterotypes? This is really original lol. LOL HIS WHITE. Ahahahhaahahaaaaaa. Im addicted to addicts. I like pinis im cured.

Great job overall, please get yourself a nice mic so you can voice act! AT2020 is what I seriously recommend. I have recommended it to others and it has worked great for them. Its what I use! The only thing I have to say is that the ending wasn't very original, so minu 5 on originality but everything else was really great. Good job!

Addicts Anonymous-If this guy improved his audio quality, I'd probably hire him for African American roles on projects I'm responsible for casting in addition to my voice performances. He's got a great array of them and that's unique to the industry right now.

Very nice job on sounding like popular characters from games / shows. I loved the Beastman voice lmao. His acting was the best. The announcer sounded kind of monotone and wimpy when an announcer would typically sound a bit exciting. It had some nice and funny content, however the ending didn't make much sense. That really knocked off some points for you sense it was one of the main requirements. You have a wonderful talent for voice acting, you should get the AT2020 microphone if you don't have it already. Good job on this, it was really enjoyable.

Lol, gee what AN ORIGINAL SKETCH. Who would have though to make a skit about millionaires when the required final line was suppose to be about millionairs! Ahah, although, it was fucking great. I love the voice acting for the homeless man, as he reminds me so much of the fat man from Monty Python and the Meaning of Life. The background noises were great, did you record them yourselve or get them from a royalty free source? SPADKGVASDK Goodness me! I thought it was original that the announcer REALLY THOUGHT this homeless man was a millionaire, great stuff. A homeless man who ran a toothpick and classic car factory. Classic. Your just a tramp living in a box... that really had me chuckling. So what was the homeless man addicted to? Lying? I am not sure how this skit contains the element of addiction, other than the homeless man being obsessive over lying and being an outright dimwitted old fart living in a slimy cardboard box on the side of some strange and busy street in some strange and busy city lying in a small puddle of his own vomit. Wonderful.

Big originality points... it kept my attention through the whole thing. I enjoyed Georges personality and comebacks/quips to every question/statement.

Wooohhh you have got to cut back on the loud noises and irritating sounds. They kill the ears and really distract the listener from the skit. I don't think the very beginning was very nescesary, and the old lady screaming scared the holy jesus out of me. You should learn how to MIX it all together nicely. In order to do this, lower the volume for peaked areas, areas with HUGE noises in them that go over the recommended sound level, and raise the volume for areas where there is not enough sound. This can be done with various editing programs such as Audacity or Garageband. You used Garageband with this skit, so it should be easy to edit future voice acting recordings. The acting was ok for the British woman and the news announcer, but it sounded like you were just making shit up in front of a microphone while not paying any attention to the acting at all. The British woman did sound like a British woman, which I was impressed with since it is always difficult to achieve an opposite sex voice. Anyway, thanks for entering the contest and good luck to you in your future recordings. This skit was very disturbing start lol. Apricots? I could tell you were overusing the echo and reverb. You need to work on your peaking skills and how to handle a microphone. Once you do, you can do some pretty awesome voices! I would recommend purchasing an AT2020 microphone for 90$! It would be a very nice investment for you.

The beginning 40 seconds are kinda hard to follow, and a little unnecessary. There are some really blatant/FUCKING HILARIOUS one-liners that make this short & sweet submission a real treat to listen to. the mixing could use some work, but other than a couple of nitpicks... I think it's really entertai-APRICOTS!

APRICOTS.

Beautiful!

Im listening to this in my bed at 1:30Am. Im tired, its been a rough day, but right now I just feel at peace. This song is wonderful. The piano in the background is incredible and the rain is amazing. I thought you should have faded out the piano instead of adruptly ending it and faded in that pad that you switched in near 1:30. That was the only flaw I regonized... everything else is just great. Good job man.

Wow

What program do you use? This is a fully pad enduced track, which I have got to give full respect to since I love making pad and beat tracks my self. You and i should try on a collab together, it would be pretty awesome. Ive got a couple of songs Ive written if you want to check them out in case you want to collab with me. Excellent notes in the background going on in this song, i can really relax to this. Very nice man.

R.I.P. Cat. I hope he/she hears this. ;)

landscapers1 responds:

I used FL Studio for this.

Oh and, I hope she hears this. ;)

One of the most professional songs here.

After listening to over 3000 songs on NG, i have to say that this one is wayyy up in the rankings for the mosy professional songs I have heard. It would be great for a boss battle of some sorts. In fact, I might just use it for a game i am planning on making.

Sadly, the KBS rate really ruins the experience for me. The sounds are not mixed to well together with such a low KBS. I would love to hear the high quality version, mind sending it to me so I can put it in my game? You will be paid of course. :)

It loops perfectley

Dont worry, I made it loop perfectley and everything. It just doesnt loop perfectley on the NG audio portal. I am mixing other songs that you make as well! :D

YouriX responds:

Okay cools lol you helping with the audio can really speed this up :)
Anyways how is it going with the projects any progress?

Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
