Go For Gold.

And now you show you can do a guitar! What musical background do you have? I noticed some electronic noises in there, i was hoping for some mix of electronica inside your hip-hop. You know what you should do is try playing low to high notes with the electric synths. Sort of like a nice jazz feel addition.

You have absolutley mastered hip-hop.. now combine it with some sort of ambiant or jazz music to make music that has a nice silent Hill feeling. Go for gold, work for a video game company, sell your CDs.

If i were you, I would seriously consider PMing Tom Fulp about selling your CD in the NG store like some various NG audio artists do. I'd buy it from you 100% :)

haywirehaywire responds:

thats a good idea, although im already selling it in different places. thanks a lot for the review and suggestion.

Piano eh?

How long have you playted the keyboard for? You are really awesome at just grooving almost freetyle over a song you make from scratch. You seemed to just be messing around and jamming with your sounds and synths haha. This has a nice taste, that repeated duw duwaa in the background goes nicely with everything. I always find it hard to simply jam with a piano, but looks like you can do it all day.

Try jamming with a sax... now that could be awesome. Of course, this means holding down the notes for a longer period of time. i'm sure you can handle it though. By the way, nice ending.

haywirehaywire responds:

for sure this is an old song of mine but im glad you like it.

Nice tribute, just be more original.

Silent Hill is always an awesome game to make music from. That pad is really relaxing and matches the background beat perfectley. Got to love those folks over on silent hill headquarters who think of such amazing stuff.

Use these skills to make a nice original song of your own with pads going in the background and awesome beats in the front. Go for gold.

Skullbeatz responds:

this one here was a really easy thing to do. did it in like 1 hour or something. it's actually the first hiphop beat i've ever made (2002) and i think it's really kinda sad that this one gets the most attention.

thanks for your review!

Too disorted.

that begginning kind of hurt my ears a bit, not pleasant at all. The lyrics were sampled, which is kind of unoriginal. Try getting someone to sing the lyrics for a nice dash of originallity in remixing. The background pad was way too edygy along with everything else. When making your music, tons down on the edgyness of the synths. Especially for such a pleasing voice. The remix doesnt go with the lyrics.

Now for the goods, the tune seemed preety cool. You seem to have a nice idea for an edgy remix, however you need to simply turn it down a bit man. I hope your remastering this and everything, good luck. Sorry for the harsh review.

b0b3rt responds:

Yeah ok.

Nice flow.

Lyrics YES! I was hoping I would ifnd some song with lyrics. Looks like I found one. And it happens to be dedicated to one of my favorite books on the face of the planet. However, personally I dont like the singing but thats just me ahah. Everything else is great. Please make a nice flow one of these days similiar to this.

haywirehaywire responds:

haha yea i dont like the singing either. thanks tho.

Its like your changing a radio station.

Its like a guy is trying to change his radio in a car, while driving down a very bad part of the city. Around him he watches as a woman gets mugged and beaten. He cant do anything about it, so he keeps on driving. Everything is in slow motion. He drives past out of business stores and sees gangs with chains walking next to them. The sky is dark and everything is bland in color. He wishes he could do something about it, but he is afraid to. He gets to his home and prays no one will destroy his car. He walks up stairs with chipped paint. THe wals are yellow and torn. He gets to his worn red and brown door and walks inside to a beat up apartment. He closes his eyes and lays on the couch to the sound of the one channel on his TV.

haywirehaywire responds:

yea man i see the same shit, dark skies, slomo gang stuff going on. thanks for a detaild review

Walking down an endless walkway in the air...

Its like there is just a large glossy metal walkway in the middle of a blue space with clouds everywhere, an endless sky. Your walking down the walkway while looking up to see little blobs of yellow float and drift amongst eachother, twirling and globbing. They come on down adn pick you straight up and you hold onto your hait in surprise. They start to take you higer and higer and other yellow blobs follow. You reach a large kingdom where these yellow blobs dwell.

The rest of the story is unkown, because thats when it ends.

I only see one problem: Variety. Your songs seem to have the same basic concept, however they still sound completley god awesome. Great job, try alternating styles though.

haywirehaywire responds:

haha thanks a lot for reviewing all my songs man.

Put lyrics on your next.

The next masterpiece you create, fill me in on it. I would love to write lyrics for it. I can picture what happens and... damn it could be really cool. But thats all up to you man. They are nice and chill without lyrics anyway. Anyway, this one is amazing as usual. Thank you :)

haywirehaywire responds:

For sure ill let you know when i make my next song. thanks a lot man

Are you a god?

Cause you are hidden and invislbe to people... but when people discover you the feelings are incredible. Your music is like an overwhelming touch of the hand of a deity. The music washes over my soul. No literally, my soul has been filled with your music. I close my eyes and float away to a complete world. The skies go togetehr piece to piece in a multi color array of blue and pink. The rivers form and mercury floats through them. Now, I must be high or something because shouldnt this mercury kill me? Nahh, its alright. Ill just hop on in and float down watching the trees form and the animals start to graze the land.

Im done with this river for now, I think im going to go check out the rest of your realm. It looks fucking awesome.

(Really, im not high, this music just makes me high. Seriously)

You... are... a... god. JEEZ. THIS IS SPECTACULAR.

haywirehaywire responds:

hahah thanks a lot fatkid. glad you like my music man

Orgasmic

That scratching in the begginning is absolutley classic. AH god this is blowing my mind. Im listening to this right now just bobbing my head up and down and enjoying the pleasant sound of pure music. This is like a cross between perfect hip hop and perfect Jazz. The ring it gives is just a smooth flow that makes me want to go and acomplish things. Soul man. I feel like im on air. I feel like im everything that ever was. Ah groove on. Im just strolling along this sidewalk, twirling my cane hahah. Im drifting on a boat in the middle of an ocean. Im on a fucking acid trip.

This song shook me up. Im just weightless. Im marooned on a desrt island waiting for the unkown. Im flying with the birds in a twirling galaxy of mist. Im under the waterfalls climbing the rocks. Im drifitng away now... and ending this review. Because the song has ended.

Damn. That was so cool. Make more... please.

haywirehaywire responds:

Thank you so much, i was aiming for a mix between jazz and hip hop of my own, so im really glad thats what you would classify this as.

Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
