Sweet, I loved how you used that drum set and combination of irony synths. This is pretty cool. It just was missing some kind of main harmony line around 1:25 that should of been there. You could just do some ambience, and I would have nothing to complain about. =P
HOw do you make those synths? Just wondering if you can give me a link showing some pics and things for the program you are using. (FL Studio no doubt)
*Ahem* I enjoyed the synth, it is always nice to hear a different synth, one at a time. Good job man.
^_^ thx, i used morphine, go to fruityloops.com, under plugins, then morphine, im sure you would find it there.
[Edit:]
oh and yes i am using FL Studio (of course)
Well, it wasn't very original or anything. It had a good, solid beat, but wasn't very interesting. Though, the electric piano there did spice up things a bit. You should of added some sort of harmony and different combinations of heavy synths at around 1:08. It was addicting enough to keep on listening though. But, every time it would build up with those cymbals, I thought there was going to be something else, but there wasn't. You should make more changes than just that piano at 2:00 and the end of the beat near the middle. I am sure I would understand the main idea of the song if I were to listen to the original Apology. It was certainly different! I liked the style mainly, great job. Hey, would you do me a favor and check out my series I am making in the audio portal?
I'll actually agree with you there - first off, it was a remix, and then I recycled samples, rhythms, composition... the reason was, at the time, I wanted to get the song done - anything was fine as long as I was satisfied with it. It didn't have to sound good to the artists picking out every little detail... like I usually do, actually. :P
Hmm, I like the heavy synth idea! :D I'm going to play with the project file right now, and see what I can get done. I might even reupload it, depending on what I get. You never know. ;)
EDIT: Gave it a try, didn't come up with much - it doesn't fit. :\ There is a way to get it, I think, that would be perfect for this song, but I don't think I know how... XD
At least it was addicting to you, and not boring! ;) Hmm - if, by "build up," you mean the reverse sample - I wasn't trying to build anything up, it was just another effect.
As for changing things... this is a remix, and like I said in the last response, this is a remix of older composition, most of which is awful. I just salvaged the best of it, which turned into a pretty decent song. :P
As for the original Apology, it's on my page, though extremely old and honestly not something I'd recommend listening to - I made it after less than a month of making music. Enough said, right? XD
Glad you liked the style, and the song overall! :D I'll definitely give your stuff a look, thanks for the review and high ratings. I'll definitely keep making music! >:)
It was very strange, and hurt my ears a little. I honestly didn't even think it was music...
For music, you can't just have a whole bunch of mixed up things like this. It didn't even have a beat. You have to add harmony man.
Try listening to songs like mine, or someone elses to get an idea of how the way music is made. Good luck.
It was a nice sounding song. The bouncing effects you used were freaking sweet. The drums, however, didn't go so well with the piece. Well, good luck on your fut-----
WOH. The crazy indian chanting there at the end made me want to continue this review. =D Well, it was kind of random, so it didn't go to well with it either. Try choosing certain things to go well with your music. If you need any help, just contact me.
And if you want, you can help me by reviewing/voting on a voice acting thing I made LOL.
lol! i know it doesnt go well, certainly the end, its just i love making random stuff, and at that end was one of them, i still need experience tho with my music making, cuz im still pretty young and got a whole future head of me, so thanks!
It sounded pretty cool at first, but then it got really strange. Not my fav or yours, but it is OK, we make mistakes sometimes. I recommend using a good beat, and lessining the disortion.
Well, I realized I haven't even reviewed these LOL. Well then, I have got to say that your voice is fantastic man. You need to enter some singing competition. Maybe someday you will be able to enter American idle, but I can't even begin to judge that. Your next step is learning to play the songs and singing. =)
I'm never entering American Idol... Never. Pop crap sucks. Thanks a lot for reviewing though, and I actually figured out how to export em on my own. Through iTunes. Nice 10...
The first metal song I have ever liked. FANTASTIC JOB!!!
Though, because it was not an original tune, I am giving you a 9, because once you learn to play it, it is very easy. Keep it up though! You could make some great stuff man.
Oh, hello there. I guess you want to know who I am. I mainly create ambient music and voice act here on NG. Occasionally youll see me produce some silly animation or game. If you want to chat or something, send me a spanky danky PM. *Sig by Magical-Zorse*
